Jury Board Member at the Falling Walls Lab initiative

On June 6, 2026 Ingeborg Reichle will serve of this year’s Falling Walls Lab jury Board, which is co-organized by HKUST(GZ) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in Guangzhou. Since its foundation in 2011 this event is connecting aspiring innovators, students, researchers, and early-career professionals, discovering and developing talents, supporting interdisciplinary dialogue and international cooperation, developing new ways of scientific communication, and is building new and strong networks.

Members of the Jury board will include Jens Hildebrandt, Vice President Government Relations Greater China BASF, Bernhard Schäfke, Associate Researcher at the Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, Brain Cognition and Brain Disease Institute at the Chinese Academy of Science, Melanie Späthe, DAAD-Lecturer at Sun Yat-sen University, Ingo Xu, Vice President AHK Greater China at the German Chamber of Commerce in China / South and Southwest, Wu Chen, Director of Government and Academic Relations of the Springer Nature Group, Karlis Rokpelnis, Chief Representative of EURAXESS CHINA, Peking Office, an initiative of the European Commission to link researchers in China with Europe, Tianqi Huang, Mentor Environmental Technology and 2023 Falling Walls Lab Shenzhen Winner, Yu-Xuan Lyu Researcher, School of Medicine at SUSTech and Guest Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Biology of Ageing in Cologne, as well as Pan Cuiping, Assistant Professor in Bioscience and Biomedical Engineering at HKUST(GZ).
