Ingeborg Reichle will join the launch of the NaturArchy catalogue (two volumes) in Brussels on June 12, 2026 (12-13 pm). The editors of the publication Caterina Benincasa, Adriaan Eeckels, Ingeborg Reichle, and Claudia Schnugg will present the publication in the context of the New European Bauhaus Festival at the Museum for Arts & History in Brussels, Belgium. This amazing publication is emerging from two years of transdisciplinary and experimental sci-art collaboration at the intersection of art, science, and policy making and evolved within the framework of the art-science project of the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre in Ispra, Italy. NaturArchy brings together artists, scientists and policy makers to explore new relationships between humans and the more-than-human world. Rooted in the idea of a “natural contract,” the project reimagines how societies might recognise the agency, rights and value of nature beyond an anthropocentric worldview. Inspired in part by the legacy of Michel Serres’ The Natural Contract, NaturArchy engages with contemporary debates on the Rights of Nature, ecological governance, and new imaginaries for coexistence. At its core, the publication is structured around the 14 artworks commissioned and developed within the NaturArchy project.
